A fast growing shade tree with fine leaves that produce a light filtered shade. Grows 35-70 ft tall. Fall color is yellow. It may prove useful in erosion areas, as an ornamental tree, as a windbreak - or just because you like the contrast of the fine leaves to the hard, coarse-grained wood. The pods provide nourishment for outdoor animals.
