This perennail blooms red, pink, or purple beginning in September and lasting through October. It grows 3-4' tall and is considered very hardy. You will find it attracts butterflies and like other asters, may be used as a cut flower. Place it in your cottage or butterfly garden. Try it in containers or use it as part of your border planting.

Special Needs: Watch for aphids, spray as needed.
Soil Conditions: Medium
Trim/Prune: Trim to ground in late fall after several frosts. Trim half way back in June to set bloom time to Sept. - Oct.
