The 1/2 inch wide leaves make a sturdy, upright clump. Emerging blooms present rich, deep blue flowers during May and June. Overall the mature plant reaches a superb height of 24-36 inches. Many years it is fortunate that it can tolerate wet conditions! This Iris makes a lasting floral statement, in the yard or as a cut flower.
